An Eye towards National: Data & Technology Sessions Emphasized
For the first time this year, the Home Performance Coalition (HPC) will highlight almost 20 sessions at its 2017 HPC National Home Performance Conference & Trade Show that are focused on how programs and businesses are using new technologies and data analytics to improve operations, reduce costs, and more accurately monitor and diagnose building performance.
These sessions will not be part of a formal track on the conference agenda, but instead marketed as a group of sessions across tracks for attendees that are specifically interested in learning about digital advances in home performance. At the 2017 National Conference, you can expect to find sessions focused on the following themes:
- New technologies and products to help contractors more efficiently monitor, diagnose, and improve building performance
- Using ‘big data’ and data analytics to improve program performance and more precisely identify energy savings opportunities
- The value of data in bridging the gap between the energy efficiency and real estate industries
- Advances in smart home technologies: savings and implementation opportunities
Within the next several weeks, HPC will be publishing a brochure on its website with information on how to find the sessions focused on data and technology. This brochure will be your guide to identifying the sessions most likely to impact your business in the future.
