Committed to Home Performance & Weatherization at the HPC17 Conference!
The first Affordable Comfort Conference, held in 1986, gathered utilities, weatherization and government agencies, and non-profits to share ideas about how we as a community can make homes healthy, comfortable and energy-efficient. More than 30 years later, as the Home Performance Coalition (HPC), these ideas continue to be the heart of our conferences in conjunction with our home performance and weatherization partners.
At this year’s National Home Performance Conference and Trade Show, we’ve partnered with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) to bring dedicated sessions for weatherization agencies, staff, crew, and energy professionals. In addition to sessions on technical building science topics related to HVAC, the building envelope, and energy auditing and diagnostics, you’ll find sessions on WAP operations and management, health and safety, and whole-house weatherization.
The conferfence will provide opportunities for each attendee to share their experiences with other WAP grantees and sub-grantees from across the country, hear about innovations in WAP, and learn from the experts in the field.
