    If you are a BPI Healthy Home Evaluator or considering it, this session is a must. We'll cover diagnostics similarities and differences between energy audits and healthy home assessments. You'll learn must-have tools and best practices for: relative humidity, dew point, CO, CO2, moisture-meters and more ... What is destructive testing and when or should it be performed? Basic pressure diagnostics you can perform with just a gauge? Should a blower door test be performed, are there benefits of a blower door in a HH Assessment? What to do when suspect conditions are observed? Particle counters: do you need one? Tools are only as good as the user and the documented process; learn how to make sure your tools provide accurate data.


    By attending this session, participants will:
    1. Learn the top must-have tools to perform a Healthy Home Assessment

    2. Understand how to complete a visual assessment then diagnostics to confirm or deny the hypotheses
    3. Understand standard operating procedures: if you use a device make sure you understand the measurements
