John Proctor is the former CEO of Proctor Engineering Group and a perpetually enthusiastic presenter at Affordable Comfort, ACEEE, and ASHRAE conferences. He is often called upon to comment on new (and pseudo new) technology by knowledgeable bloggers. He has spent the last 35 years attempting to reduce the waste of energy particularly energy from fuels that produce global warming. His introduction into the public dialog took place in an 8 week Emmy awarded Public Television series he hosted called "Who's Taking the Heat". He is a strong critic of fake savings, film/flam, and fraud.
