Many homeowners understand that home performance improvements will make their homes more comfortable and affordable.
Julie leads HPC's national efforts to promote data standardization in the home performance industry through the development and management of several Building Performance Institute (BPI) standards including BPI-2200, BPI-2100, and BPI-2101. Julie has been instrumental in establishing HPXML as the common software language for the industry's transactions. She also works closely with realtors and appraisers to make home energy information visible and accessible to homeowners, and writes on the value of smart home technologies for reducing energy usage and demand. Prior to joining HPC, Julie led several new initiatives as a project manager at NYSERDA.
