This session is an introduction to the principles of Quality Management. Traditional ways of increasing profits in private sector contracting have been by increasing sales, raising prices or by reducing costs.
Dick Kornbluth has been a residential retrofit energy efficiency improvement contractor since 1977, and a full-service Home Performance Contractor since 2001. In 2006, he and his partner sold their Syracuse, New York company, EnTherm Inc, to GreenHomes America. Dick served on the management team of GreenHomes until August, 2006 when he left to start a consulting business, DickKornbluth, LLC. Dick serves on the board of the Building Performance Institute and the Building Performance Contractors Association of New York State. He was also a nationally certified radon mitigation contractor form 1998 to 2016.
